Basics - Files management
1. File Upload
In the left column of the Home tab of the site administration, you are are enabled to manage the files (Files Upload) that you will upload and use and your website.
With the scroll-down list, you are given access to the folder /images (Images) or to the folder /file (Downloads).
A simple click on the display area is all it takes to open a window and browse your hard drive in order to choose the file(s) to be uploaded to the folders (directories) on your site..
You can perform a multiple selection, then drag and drop these files directly from your hard drive to the display area.
To delete a file, simply click on the corresponding link.
The images files for the folder /images must be in the usual image formats (.jpg .gif .png .ico .svg... - have a look at the list when uploading-)
The files for the folder /file must be in the formats .zip or .pdf
Caution: The file name must consist of a maximum of 25 characters, including the extension.
Beware of the names given to the files: The correction is automatic. For instance, accents are removed, spaces are replaced by dashes, case is lowercasted... in order to normalize the writing of files and avoid errors.
Caution: When updating a file, be sure to delete the old file before uploading the new one.
NB: You will also be able to access this file management area directly from the editor.
2. Creating new folders (directories)
Click on the link on bottom left.
Then enter a name for this new directory in the window that opens and click on Create.

3. Browsing the directory tree
You can then navigate in the treeview in the left-hand column.
Click on the names of the folders to reach them.
Click on ... to go up one level.
